How to Think About the Real World

I posted the following comment to the Conservative Treehouse site, in response to someone who advocated mathematics in solving real-world problems, and who used an old chestnut, "Encountering The Truth Teller and the Liar at the Crossroads" as his example. Since my discovery of "The Great Design of the 'gods'", I am a unique expert on the truth about real-world problem solving:

Your example is an old "poser", a trick problem, that I encountered in a book of posers when I was an adolescent, and I regard it as adolescent entertainment, no more. One can't, for example, waste time in the real world trying to come up with a question that always has the same answer, whether from a "truth-teller" or a "liar". More generally, mathematics -- in any form -- does not govern logic, nor science as applied to the real world. The truth is just the reverse. Mathematics by itself is free of meaningful content. (This of course is intuitively obvious, to anyone -- even the most learned scientist -- upon first encountering a strange new equation of mathematical symbols.

Cause and effect is the proper idea; this is the whole idea of science. To truly understand a situation, seek the cause (or more generally, multiple causes, although they all have to come together, to inform the present). And here is the real secret, that adolescent thinkers too often neglect: Real-world situations constitute a complex picture, when all is known, but which, with causes yet unknown, is rather an unassembled jigsaw puzzle. Yet we know all of the pieces have to fit together precisely, at every juncture, in the end, to form that complex but entirely coherent picture. Again, coherence is the mark of the real world. The things of the real world cohere (this is the fundamental truth, the bottom line, that would cure atheism itself, and any and all existential angst), as mere vain imaginings (such as the ideas of the Insane Left Democrats now) never can and never do. We are fighting incoherence (hell-bent and dogmatic) now, in both the Deep State and in our fellow citizens.

Every real-world situation is a jigsaw puzzle, with real pieces that must all fit together. This of course makes solving the puzzle easy, in the end, because that fitting together means there is a wealth of information, in the shape of every piece and the picture details on each piece, that tells one exactly (!) how they must fit together. One need only take the time to consider how well each pair of pieces fits together.

I could tell you just what level of fitting together needs to be achieved, before one can confidently consider two pieces properly joined; it is in my book, "The End of the Mystery". In my experience, however, "leading the horse to water" is the best I can hope for. The answer lies in every jigsaw puzzle, of course; all you have to do is look.

Global Climate Hysteria is at Odds with the Stable Global Design I Discovered

I have posted the following comment on the tallbloke site, in response to the news that Great Britain is doubling down on its hysterical belief in "global climate change/global warming":

The whole world and everything in it was designed (in a series of progressively lesser designs, not a single creation). That includes the global mean surface temperature, as the Standard Atmosphere model assumes and I have precisely confirmed over 9 years ago (and explained, by its simple physics, in the years since) on my blog. The world, in all of its complexity and even its most extreme variations (which are local, and transient, not global nor abiding), are utterly stable -- by design.

The foundation of science -- the very idea of unchanging "natural laws" -- rests upon the fact of the world's designed stability.

My discovery and verification of "the Great Design of the "gods" " -- the last in the series of designs -- confirms the world's design, as never before imagined, in all of history, and sets at naught all expostulations of any substantial global climate change (as well as any dogmatic defense of the current, false, central theories of all the earth and life sciences: Darwinian -- undirected -- evolution, and plate tectonics).

The present worldwide insanity comes just as my revolutionary new knowledge would cure it, instantly with that knowledge's acceptance by the wider world. The new knowledge reveals the single, objective origin of all the world's "Ancient Mysteries", and all of its false dogmas, and can cure all those that are now dividing mankind and tearing at the fabric of modern civilization.

The Central Mystery of the Earth and Man -- Solved

The tallbloke site has another post on "Advanced Geometry Used By Prehistoric Architects", in the U.S. Southwest in this instance, with the "Pueblo Indians" of c. 1200 AD. Their buildings incorporated equilateral triangles, 45° and other "Pythagorean", or right, triangles, and the "golden rectangle" (whose longer side is 1.618 times as long as the shorter side). The post begins, "Another one to add to the ‘how and why did they do that?’ list of ancient sites. Years of research lie ahead." My response:

I have already done the years of research; I have already found the answer, 20 years ago now.

Equilateral triangles, right triangles (including the 45°), and the "golden rectangle" (this last is the proper clue to consider, to the real mystery) -- These are indeed easy to construct (the golden rectangle can be gotten from the 2:1 rectangle and its diagonal); all that is really required is to have the idea of each one, and an accurate method of construction is almost child's play. I would think the building of well-constructed walls, which has been obvious from the time the Pueblo buildings were first known, is harder. The "hardest" geometrical element would be the right angle, and the idea of constructing the perpendicular bisector of a line solves that (and anyone who chooses even as a child to devote himself to angular constructions could reinvent that wheel for himself, shortly after he realized he could use a cord to mark off distances accurately). Of course, the architects would have to have been more than just primitive hunter-gatherers, at some time prior to the building, and had the leisure time to consider such things; but again, we have known this all along for those people. In other words, they were CIVILIZED, in a thoroughly modern sense, as shown by their knowledge of geometric shapes and their competent building with same.

These were built, they say, c. 1200 AD. Compare that with the much more advanced Greeks and Euclid (who DID have writing), c. 300 BC. And don't say they can't be compared, as all I am saying is that the Greeks of 300 BC were not more innately intelligent than the Pueblo "Indians" of 1200 AD. Indeed, we absolutely know, not only from the written works of various "ancient" peoples, but the creative "myths" of all ancient peoples (with many ideas and precise details in common), that they had minds as good as ours today, when they weren't obsessed with bloody religious dogmas, long inherited.

The only real clue to the greater mystery--why should peoples, worldwide, have thought of these precise shapes at all--is the golden rectangle, which by itself shows that peoples on opposite sides of the world had that same idea, and expressed it. That proves what I said in the last paragraph, that the people of 300 BC can and should be compared with those 1500 years later, as far as their geometrical imaginations went. Why the golden rectangle?

But you have been asking that question, not only about the ancient peoples, but about the solar system, for some time now (and your forebears have done the same, for centuries, as the various CIVILIZATIONS of the past have re-emerged from exploration of the world).

And as I have told you before, the amazing answer is that it goes back to a common inheritance, of a great design at the heart of ancient peoples' imaginations and religious beliefs. And even that idea has been speculated on, long before this.

But no one, before me, has discovered THE great design, which is not speculative at all, but a proven fact (by me and me alone).

The golden ratio is the mark of that great design, which encompasses both the Earth and all the life on it (that ratio is present in the DNA molecule itself), AND the entire solar system.

That great design--I call it "The Great Design of the 'gods' "--is the next scientific paradigm, replacing the "undirected evolution" paradigm so vehemently defended today.

And that is why you also cannot trust today's theories, insofar as they are based on the false assumptions underlying the undirected evolution paradigm. Everything was CONSTRUCTED (even the reproductive machinery of life); it didn't simply "EVOLVE" into what we observe today.

The Clockwork Moon Science ignores

[This is an article I originally wrote for Newsblaze.com back in June 2009, and I have since referenced it many times on the internet, most recently in my September 6th post here, "Undirected Evolution: The False Religious Dogma Strangling Science". I wrote it in an "entertaining" style, for Newsblaze's broad, lay audience.]

I don't know where you stand, dear reader, on the subject of whether or not our world shows deliberate design, but I can tell you something you may not know, because science absolutely refuses to admit it -- to the public and to itself: There is positive evidence of design, and not chance, going on out there.

This is not the most popular tack for a writer -- even a scientist like myself -- to take today. It's true a steady 40% of the country feels comfortable telling pollsters they don't believe in the evolution theory science insists upon, which pointedly denies any design in the natural world (and which, ironically, is partly based on the evidence of domestic breeding, which are the designs of man, of course). But when it involves strong argument, the country tends to split right down the middle, so I think only about half of the 40% who really believe in design in the natural world want to see it brought up again here. So I'm probably ticking off 80% of my readers, and I'll just quote Phoebe Buffet (of Friends) and say brightly: "Okay... let's do it!"

One of the most outstanding indications of a deliberate design actually lies a short way out in space, with our nearest neighbor, the Moon. The Moon is about 240,000 miles from the Earth on average. Its diameter is 2160 miles, and it subtends an angle of 0.527 degrees, on average, as seen from the Earth. That's about the apparent size of a dime seen from 6 feet away.

The Sun is about 93 million miles away, and about 865,000 miles in diameter. It's average apparent diameter, seen from the Earth, is 0.533 degrees. Compare that to the Moon's 0.527 degrees. They're essentially the same, 0.53 degrees across. That's why a total solar eclipse is possible: The Moon is precisely the right apparent size. Put another way, the Moon is at precisely the right distance from the Earth, on average, to totally eclipse the Sun.

Now, in a solar system littered with moons -- 135 of them the last time I checked -- our Moon is the only one that is both perfectly round and anywhere near the right size to precisely eclipse the Sun, as seen from its mother planet. And it does it precisely, on a precisely repeating cycle, like nothing less than a cleverly-designed clockwork. Most scientists brush off the Moon, and its clockwork, as a "cosmic coincidence". Ancient man was properly and reasonably awed by it. As a competent mathematical scientist, I am awed by it.

The Moon, the experts say with the absolute confidence of exacting research and extensive calculations, was blasted out of the Earth itself, very early in the history of Earth's development. The Moon is still receding from the Earth, very slowly, they say. So it wasn't always at just the right distance to totally eclipse the Sun, as it is now. This makes it even more astounding that, just by chance, after nearly 4.5 billion years of slow recession from the Earth, it should be at just the right distance from the Earth, throughout the recorded history of man (the last 6,000 years or so), to so precisely match the Sun in the sky, and figure so prominently in ancient man's religiously-held beliefs.

Furthermore, the Moon goes through phases, from new to full and back again, every month. (That's why we call it a "month"; it's a "moonth" -- "moon's" -- period, get it? Well, I bet 20% of you do.) These phases mimic the progression of a total eclipse, and underscore the total eclipse as the single recognizable theme of the Moon's design. Because that's what this "cosmic coincidence" obviously is, a deliberate design, made with deliberate intent: To emphasize, and memorialize, the total eclipse -- as a once-upon-a-time catastrophic extinguishing of the Sun's light by another body, perhaps. When the Sun "died", as the world's myths in fact claimed. That's why the eclipse was universally feared, up to modern times. (In the Norse myths, at Ragnarok the Sun was overtaken and eaten by a "wolf"; in the Greek, the Sun's chariot was driven out of its accustomed path by Phaethon, the Sun god's son, who was hurled down to destruction -- and in both accounts, the surface of the Earth was largely burned up.)

Ancient man knew something of this memorial, as a "sacred truth" never to be forgotten. He made calendars of the year according to the Moon's motion through the sky -- though that motion does not harmonize well with the true length of the year -- and some are still in use (the Jewish and Muslim calendars, for example). Is that creepy, or what?

The New Paradigm: Beyond Sunken Cities and Rifted, Drifting Continents

The climate etc site of climate professor Judith Curry has a guest post, "Canopus, Herakleion, New Orleans and Continental Rifts", on an "alternative perception of sea level rise and climate change". By "alternative perception" the author, Anthony Lucas, means an alternative theory to the consensus earth science (i.e., plate tectonics), to wit an "expanding Earth" theory, in which he considers the above-named cities to be located on rifts which, rather than themselves sinking into the sea, are surrounded by a generally rising Earth's crust--globally rising, that is, as the "expanding Earth" phrase makes clear, and apparently bringing the sea level (but not the rift area, as much) up with it. This "alternate perception" seems to me to be a strained interpretation, and highlights the confusion inherent in current claims about "sea level rise", complicated as they are by claims of land subsidence (with the further uncertainty between "regional" and "global" effects).

If scientists want to get past all of this confusion in the earth sciences, they will have to confront and accept my finding and verification of the Great Design of the "gods". (Yes, I know that sounds like a "crank" idea, but it is the literal, physical truth, and seamlessly marries modern science with the ancient mysteries, which originated in the world-changing deeds of those who were, because of such wondrous deeds, known as the "gods"--in other words, no hype here, just the plain truth, about the re-formation of the Earth and solar system, the premiere event in the history of man on Earth, lasting over thousands of years before the beginning of known history).

I wrote about an Independent Confirmation of the Design by consensus scientists, back in 2006. Those scientists (Sears et al.) found a "truncated-icosahedral" pattern in the breakup of the former supercontinents of Laurasia and Gondwana, a pattern with the same symmetry as the dodecahedral pattern I discovered in the Design.

At the end of that article, I wrote, with respect to the "Expanding Earth" theory:

Now my work is independent of any “expanding Earth” theory, nor have I looked into it at all, except for that one important point I mentioned: In his papers, Sears gave the single edge length exhibited in the truncated-icosahedral tessellation as 23.28 degrees. In the regular dodecahedron design of the Earth I found, the edge length is some 41.81 degrees. Now, in the context of a possible expansion of the Earth, the truncated-icosahedral pattern can be formed from the regular dodecahedron by an expansion of the surface, with the individual pentagons of the dodecahedron separating from one another on the expanding surface and coming into the truncated-icosahedral pattern, with the pentagons separated by hexagonal areas. In other words, if the expansion was done to deliberately transform a dodecahedron into a truncated-icosahedron--or to imply such a process--then the radius of the Earth would have been expanded from its initial value to 41.81/23.28 times that value, or 1.8 times its original value. Since the Earth radius is now some 3,963 miles, its original radius would have been some 2,200 miles.

2,200 miles is just the radius of the Earth’s core, as established by modern science.

So a deliberate world design, involving either a real or an implied expansion of the Earth to enable transforming a dodecahedron into a truncated icosahedron, explains the precise relative radii of the Earth and its core.

So, regardless of any supposed present-day continental drift, and regardless of whether the Earth was actually expanded or not, a deliberate, designed re-formation is the essential key to understanding the Earth as we now find it. That is what will remove the confusion in earth science.

One Reader's Confirmation

The following e-mail I just received, and my response, may be of interest to readers here:

After buying your books over a year and a half ago, it seems the only conclusion I can make is that you are correct. I maintained some doubt (perhaps unreasonably) until I found where you noted the ENP on the ground in the Great Mapping and located a sphere rotation script on the web to check the points, but having done so I can only conclude that the Great Mapping is a projection of the (rotated) celestial sphere onto the Earth sphere.

I had already concluded that I couldn't really justify doubling [I think he means "doubting"-HDH] the probability of chance being the reason for each of the input probabilities in chapter six as long as the mapping was correct. Even doing so as a gedankenexperiment still leaves a number that isn't remotely reasonably the result of chance. Thus, I find the only reasonable conclusion is that the Earth was designed.

To check the star positions I used the rotation script noted below[1] with GNU Octave, and took my star positions from KStars. I ran the equatorial coordinates through the KStars equatorial->ecliptic converter, added 180 to the ecliptic longitude (at least that seemed to work for all my checks) and fed that to the rotation script.

The rotation script is a bit odd in that it asks for /South/ pole coordinates, not North pole, and that it asks for Longitude,Latitude. Thus, the rotated pole coordinates are ENP_lon - 180, -ENP_lat. I left out the actual coordinates because they are possibly the heart of the book, and I haven't seen you post them online.

Regarding the Milky Way core to South America comparison, that one I found a little more difficult to verify because I found four different outlines from four different sources - only one of which (nearly) matches yours. Still, with that much disagreement in conventional sources your outline is as reasonable as any I've seen. Even if one disregards that particular match probability calulation, I can't see that it meaninfully affects the overall calculations.

I did try looking up the etymology of Russia, and found that while the Ursa etymology is unsupported by recent history, I didn't immediately find a trace back to Indo-European. However, the history seems to be only well supported back to about 830AD, which leaves open the possibility of earlier Latin influence. Perhaps inconclusive, but highly interesting.

Regarding footnote 146 on page 121, I was a little surprised that you missed noting the archaic and no longer used Digamma that was the 6th letter in the dialects that had it, pushing Eta to the eighth position.

I probably could go on, but this is getting long enough already.

Thank you for your feedback comments; they tell me that it is likely that any substantial conversation regarding the evaluation of my work, in finding and verifying--to the highest scientific standards--what I have called the Great Design of the "gods", must inevitably involve giving a full university-level course (perhaps even a four-year program) to thoroughly explain every aspect of it from the ground up, so to speak. I was slightly surprised, for example, to hear that you did so much work before you realized you were dealing with a projection of the celestial sphere onto the earth globe; I thought I had made that clear in the early chapters of "The End of the Mystery" (the "celestial sphere" itself is a projection of the actual stars onto an imaginary sphere surrounding the Earth, as shown in my Figure 3.2, for example); but I see I was mistaken. In trying to communicate my own sense of discovery at each early step of my research--including the discovery that I WAS dealing with a projection of the celestial sphere onto the Earth sphere--I introduced the idea of a "mapping" of the former onto the latter (on page 28), and then my discovery that one had only to use the mirror image of the constellation Cepheus in order to have it map precisely onto the African Horn (page 29, and Figure 2.15). I called this "mirror image" placing of Cepheus precisely on the shape of the African Horn "the second great discovery" (on page 30), precisely BECAUSE it meant a simple projection of the celestial sphere onto the Earth was involved; but I left that conclusion unsaid on that page, because I wanted to allow the reader to make that connection in their own mind, as I did when I first found the Cepheus/African Horn match (the precision of which, by itself, was enough to prove it was a deliberate design, using probability arguments like those used in Chapter Six and other chapters--which I also left unsaid). I thought, by the time the reader encountered Fig. 3.2, it would be clear to anyone that we were dealing, in the Great Mapping, with a mathematically precise projection of the one sphere onto the other; and the introduction of the "downward looking" view of the celestial sphere immediately after, and the later views of the Great Mapping (and many other projectional mappings, in Chapter 9) would cement that understanding. You have reminded me one book cannot do justice to the depth and breadth of the new/old knowledge--indeed, the new field of scientific study--I have discovered. Too many things along the way are inevitably left unsaid, or remain unaddressed, by any single book.

Of course, since the finding and verification of the Great Design changes the entire modern science paradigm--especially in the earth and life sciences, where uniformitarianism, Darwinian (undirected) evolution and plate tectonics are literally swept away as adequate explanations of the observable truth, about the Earth design--the necessity for a new major course of study, of this new scientific field, should be apparent.

I have not investigated your method for checking on the Great Mapping, and may or may not do so in the near future, so I won't comment on your efforts there, except to say congratulations on your desire to check for yourself, and your apparent confirmation of the Great Mapping as a real, and accurate, projection of the celestial sphere onto the terrestrial sphere. The mappings I discussed in Chapter 9 are likewise real, and precise, projections of the celestial sphere onto the Earth, all enabled by the deliberate design of the landmasses on the Earth, as an objective record of the deeds of the "gods", for a sufficiently advanced earthbound mankind to find and translate, as I have done.

The Milky Way outline I used in my research and in the book was that given by Wil Tirion, in the book "The Cambridge Star Atlas" (1998). He has been the most authoritative source for star charts for decades, and his charts are used in all of the several, and most widely available, sources I cited in "The End of the Mystery".

As to Russia, the main thing is to remember that I tried to use the most familiar material I could, as far as I could, in my research (with an eye to making it easier for the lay reader to either already know, or most easily check, the information I presented). With that in mind, the fact that Russia has traditionally, even commonly, been known as "The Great Bear" is all that needs to be said, when one sees that the constellation of Ursa, "The Great Bear", well stretches out over Russia in the Great Mapping. That alone tells one that that placement was deliberate, not by chance, and that the words "Russia" and "Ursa", so close in sound, must both come from the same original source, and that source is the Great Mapping (as is well confirmed by all the other matchups, of constellation names and names on the corresponding lands or other earth features, in the Great Mapping, I found).

Several years ago, one of the earliest buyers of my book wrote to me, also telling me about the extra letter that once put "eta" in the eighth place in the Greek alphabet. As I told him, I don't mind getting this independent confirmation of my claim about the identification of "eta" with "eight"; I used the current form of the Greek alphabet, again because that is what is out there today, for anyone to see. The way I look at it is, I already knew, from all those observations I listed on page 121 of the book, that there must be a reason why "eta" is only in the seventh place today, and my footnote was in the nature of a dare, or prediction, that that reason must and would come to light (as it did to you--see how easy that confirmation was? And you did it yourself, hence a truly independent confirmation on your part, and on the part of that earlier reader I mentioned).

More Than a Conspiracy, More Than Climate Science

The Notrickszone site has a post on universities suppressing non-consensus climate views. One commenter derided the post as a "conspiracy" view, while another, on the other side of the climate debate, looked back to the 1950s, when, he wrote, continental drift was suppressed. My response to both sides:

Continental drift was not suppressed, just strongly argued against, because geophysicists (not geologists, but physicists) could find no reasonable physical cause for it. And no one has ever actually found the internal magma currents supposedly driving continental drift, nor have they ever found subduction actually taking place anywhere; the physics of the crustal materials involved still denies it CAN take place (i.e., lighter material diving into and below the denser material beneath it), much less that it HAS happened, or IS happening.

The truth is that it is not just climate science that fails today; all of the earth AND life sciences are in a yet-unrecognized crisis of incompetent theories, going all the way back to the rise (and consensus agreement that it was "settled science") of uniformitarianism and its most famous offspring, Darwinian (i.e., undirected) evolution.

So it is not a matter of just a "climate conspiracy" having taken over all of our most trusted and authoritative institutions; it is the culmination of a long-nurtured, dogmatic denial of deliberate design of our world, which has affected all of the earth and life sciences. I am the only scientist who can speak authoritatively about this, because I am the one who has uncovered and verified the re-formation and design that was imposed upon the Earth, and the entire solar system, by those who were called gods by ancient man. It was that deliberate re-formation that moved and shaped the continents, not plate tectonics. That is the FACT that no other scientific "expert" in the world will face today; too many theories, too many lifetimes of diligent but misdirected research, are at stake. The sacrosanct uniformitarian paradigm, the "undirected evolution" paradigm, is at stake. Against that, those who seek refuge in their political ideology--as if the debate were only between the enlightened Left and the reactionary Right--are the most deluded, the most misdirected in their thinking, and the most irrelevant and incompetent. But make no mistake, ALL are incompetent today, in the face of the great design I found to be the single source of all the ancient mysteries.

Earth's "Other Moon", and the Great Design

The "Tallbloke's Talkshop" site has a post on "Earth's Other Moon", concerning a so-called "quasi-satellite" of Earth (actually, it's just a very small body orbiting the Sun, in an eccentric orbit that goes from Mercury's orbit out to beyond Mars's orbit, but with the same orbital period as Earth). In the context of the "Great Design of the gods" I found, the following is my response:

The facts, that it orbits the Sun in a smooth ellipse (indicating it feels only the Sun's attraction), that it doesn't get close enough to the Earth to be affected by Earth's gravity, yet it has a sidereal period "almost exactly the same as Earth's", all imply that its orbit was designed--just as the whole solar system was deliberately re-formed, to a new ecliptic orientation, in fact, (a mere 17,000 years ago). This is the new paradigm--the study of the design(s) of the "gods" of ancient worldwide testimony (in myths and other religiously passed-down texts)--that my unprecedented research into the "ancient mysteries" has revealed. Cruithne's orbit, it is already clear to me, indicates something of importance for Earth-bound man to know about the former constituion of the solar system, and probably about specific changes that were made to the planetary orbits and how they were made. Cruithne's orbit is similar to what I deduced from the ancient data Immanuel Velikovsky uncovered for a former eccentric orbit of Venus (implied in ancient observations, specifically in the so-called "tablets of Ammizaduga")--although Velikovsky's work was meant to show that the "Worlds In Collision" he studied (specifically, among Venus, Mars and Earth) occurred in the second and first millennia BC, much later than the general reformation of the solar system (circa 15,000 BC) my findings reveal (a reformation, I might add, that was memorialized in Greek myth as "the birth of the new gods", and "when the twelve were produced from the eight" in ancient Egypt's ancient sacred tradition). Venus's present nearly-perfect circular orbit is another clue that design was involved in it (especially if one takes the "tablets of Ammizaduga" seriously, as evidence of its former, quite eccentric orbit--as well as the present resonances between Venus's orbit and those of Mars and Earth, and other clues as well). Cruithne would not be so clearly tied to the Earth by its orbital period if it didn't involve real changes made to the Earth and Earth's orbit (and any such "horseshoe orbits" tied to other planets, like that mentioned above for Saturn, likewise would involve changes involving the specific planet). These "horseshoe" orbits offer yet another independent line of study into the detailed unfolding of the design--what actually happened, as revealed by the objective physical facts of the design.

The Truth Is Where You Find It

Many critics of the current, false, climate consensus (on "global warming", or "climate change") like to point to plate tectonics (or continental drift) as an example of a once-heretical idea that overcame the former consensus to become the central idea of all the earth sciences today. Steven Goddard has made the latest such posting, and the following is my response, based upon my own, much more "heretical" research findings:

The bottom line is, truth is where you find it, not where everyone else is looking for it. Reality is what it is, not what you would like it to be. And the truth is, the older generations of geologists--geophysicists especially--had good reason to reject continental drift: They could see no physically acceptable cause for it. And it turns out Wegener only started a revolution whose real depth and breadth only my work now encompasses. Why is there still continental movement? I don't know (yet--and I see no reason to hurry to explain that). I only know the reason the continents moved in the past, to their present positions and orientations (and shapes): They were deliberately moved, to a great design, the mere shattered remembrance of which has guided, even dictated, the intellectual voyage of mankind on Earth ever since.
