Johannes Kepler: Sleepwalker-Founder of Modern Science

While I have been focused here lately on incompetence in modern climate science (and in modern science generally), it needs to be emphasized that scholars throughout history have been thoroughly misguided by the ancient knowledge that was handed down among all the peoples of the world as the "sacred truth", first about the "gods" of earliest myth, and later about "God" Himself. (And it was a rare scholar, philosopher, or theologian, who could both start and end with the humble position of admitting that he/she didn't know what "God" really entailed, or why the most ancient peoples worshipped whole families of "gods", with one god understood as being above all the others). The men who founded modern science were steeped in the old "knowledge", and they had to learn how to focus upon hard physical evidence, and master strict mathematics and logic, as their proper guides, over the "sacred wisdom" passed down from times immemorial, in order to show the way for true science. Dogma had to be set aside, but its ages-old attraction was compelling, so they reached out for hard evidence fitfully and far from consistently, like sleepwalkers in an enchanted-like dream-state (the author Arthur Koestler wrote a beautiful book, "The Sleepwalkers", about these earliest scientists, many years ago now).

I received a comment (from one "garlo") here, in which Kepler's more misguided mystical musings, masquerading as science in his mind, were brought up. I realized a proper response required that I make a distinction between my scientific discovery and verification of a real Great Design of the world, and the mystical musings of Kepler and earlier (and even modern) religiously-minded scholars. I hasten to add, the Design IS of fundamental religious, or more correctly spiritual, importance; but the primary truth of it, that above all needs to be grasped, is that it is a hard, objective, scientific fact. The following is that fuller response to "garlo", and to anyone of like mind.

The verifiable dodecahedral arrangement in the layout of landmasses on the Earth is just one aspect, among many, of the Great Design I found--by the way, I am capitalizing it as a real, unified, and all-encompassing design (not a mere mass of "conjectures", or a formless pile of unconnected and odd observations, as all past researchers have produced, throughout history). The Great Design was responsible for ALL the so-called "ancient mysteries", the latter being just the religious and ritually precise human expressions of the intellectual awe with which the smallest knowledge fragments from the design were passed down among men--as literally the "sacred truth" about the origin of the world and mankind. (But in the present tattered intellectual atmosphere, particularly among academics and those in authority in science, just getting anyone to seriously and professionally consider ANY of the overwhelming mass of evidence, for the Great Design I uncovered, takes on the dimensions of a life's work.)

Kepler's belief, that the Earth was somehow made according to the dodecahedron, was nothing new, it goes back to ancient times; indeed, it qualifies as one of the "ancient mysteries", and Kepler picked up on the regular solids as such, and used them, not so much dispassionately, as a scientist, but as a mystical expression of the will of God (he noted their ancient provenance himself, writing, "More than 2,000 years ago Pythagoreans said that these figures [the regular solids] were the figures of the world..."). Kepler's attempt to match them to the planetary orbits was really just his own mathematical elucidation of the original Pythagorean teaching, which every mathematician knew of as the "harmony of the spheres". Kepler called them the regular solids (not platonic solids, because he knew they predated Plato), as we do today.

But as I wrote in my book, "The End of the Mystery":

"I do not want to take away from those who were already assured of a dodecahedral design of the Earth, including Socrates; but I think I am the first person to reveal its objective foundation, and thus prove it to science, and more importantly, to prove it an integral part of a comprehensive design."

In other words, as I said earlier, the dodecahedral pattern in the layout of the continents is just one aspect of the Great Design of the Earth and solar system, by the "gods" who were our real forebears.

As just one of uncounted many checks I made as part of my research, I naturally checked Kepler's attempt to match the planetary orbits with the regular solids, and found the fit was not that good, certainly not good enough to warrant his claim that the planetary orbits were a God-designed matching of the relative sizes of the regular solids--particularly since the Great Design I had already found is much more precise than any such planetary fitting. And the real meaning behind the ancient association of Earth with the dodecahedron is not to be found in the sizes of the planetary orbits--it is because (as I have explained in my book, "The End of the Mystery") the Earth is the planet of life in the solar system, and the mathematics of the dodecahedron is tied to the life on Earth, on every level from the smallest physical expression (DNA) to the level of metaphorical spiritual insights in the Pythagorean and other ancient mystery traditions.

While Kepler's mystical matching of the regular solids with the planetary orbits was misguided, I did get one important piece of ancient knowledge from him, and later in fine detail in Euclid (Proposition 17, Book XIII): The dodecahedron was anciently, and most simply, known as being built up from the cube, very simply, using the famous "golden section", another key Pythagorean tradition, that goes back to the Great Design itself as a matter of course. I discussed Euclid's lucid construction of the dodecahedron, for the benefit of lay readers, in an appendix in "The End of the Mystery".

Kepler's approach to the "harmony of the spheres" was to consider the sizes of the two spheres associated with a regular solid (like the dodecahedron), one inscribed within and the other circumscribing the solid. For each of the five regular solids, Kepler gave the ratio of the radii of the inscribed (Ri) and circumscribing (Ro) spheres. In modern form, those ratios are:

cube: Ri/Ro = .57735
tetrahedron: .33333
dodecahedron: .79465
icosahedron: same as for dodecahedron
octahedron: same as for cube

You can yourself compare these ratios with the relative sizes of the orbits of the 6 innermost planets (with the mean Earth-Sun distance as the standard unit),

Mercury .387, or .4
Venus .723, or .7
Earth 1.000, or 1
Mars 1.524, or 1.5
Jupiter 5.202, or 5.2

as many have no doubt done both before and after Kepler, and in vain. The Great Design is otherwise.

More empirical-minded scientists later crafted the Titius-Bode "law" for the successive planetary orbits:

mean orbital radius = (n + 4)/10, with n = 0, 3, 6, 12, 24, 48, etc.,

with Earth at the standard distance (1.0, for n = 6), and the asteroid belt, between Mars and Jupiter, being in the right position to represent a former, now-shattered planet (an hypothesis no one has ever proved), but an extra planet, Neptune, where it shouldn't be, if the Titius-Bode formula was actually a law (so it is not a law--any more than current climate models are physical laws, as the incompetent consensus supposes).

The Present War and the Needed New Knowledge

I have submitted the following comment to the American Thinker site, in response to an article about the state of political war that now exists in America and the world (as I have stated before, I will take no political or ideological comments on this science site):

If money is the lifeblood of the Insane Left (as I call them, since Obama brought carefully concealed ideas of Black and Muslim supremacy, not to mention Malthusian environmental and climate hysteria, into political correctness), then the "body" through which that "blood" flows is an artificial one, a golem or zombie (to use a perversely popular movie nightmare character, over the last 50 years -- perhaps not coincidentally, the same time frame as the post-civil-rights "racist white America" movement, of law-bending and increasing outright lawlessness -- a la Kim Foxx now -- in the name of "affirmative action"). It is without true, moral character (Obama's own defining characteristic, which he shares with the Black Muslims -- who are Black Supremacists, the antithesis of White Supremacists, as taught to them by Muslims -- and the Muslims themselves).

Islam, the Muslim religion, has been around almost as long as Christianity on the world stage, and is directly opposed to Christianity, since its first campaign of conquest invaded Spain. We are dealing with a long-standing, religious enmity, grafted onto, or more correctly suborning, modern "social justice", or black (and increasingly, latino) separatism and favored status.

It has been an open war, The War of the Insane Left, since Obama was made President in 2008. It has mostly been a political war, but with actual violence done by individual believers in the cult (I'm referring to Antifa and Black Lives Matter, law-hating young men/women like Trayvon Martin, rather than actual Islamic terrorists), now openly pushed and prodded by the likes of Ilhan Omar and AOC, the latest "false prophets" in a four thousand year history of false prophets. Religion itself is failing, now, not just politics and science.

"Who knows only his own generation [and thus only his own grievances, however hard] remains always a child." That is what the world is faced with now -- the avoidance behavior of a world full of children, against all the painfully learned truths of history. As a hard scientist, with no ties to academia and the consensus for the past 25 years, I have made a great discovery, that would act to shine the light on that history, all the way back to its heretofore darkest beginnings -- but the children of today need to tear themselves away from all past grievances, to LOOK at that newly lighted, long, long path of mankind, to LOOK at its real, objective origin as never known before.

The world is full of voices, all crying out "listen to ME!" All I can do, as The Voice among voices, needed to draw mankind back from the brink perhaps as never before, is inform of the existence of new yet oldest truth, about the world and the mankind irrevocably bound to it. I do not hold myself as wiser than you -- but I do know much more, about what this world of man needs now.

"Post Modernism" and the General Incompetence in Science Today

I posted the following comment on the American Thinker site, in response to a comment that referred to "cultural geography" and "post-modernism":

As a physicist, the term "cultural geography" sounds like another meaningless term, that belongs in sociology, not hard science.

I just took the time to look up "post-modernism" in my 4-inch thick dictionary (the only clue -- other than the vague mention of "gaia" -- your comment gave to the nonsensical "cultural geography"), and it wasn't there -- so I looked up "modernism", and found that it had to do with "a movement in Protestant Christianity...that seeks to establish the meaning and validity of the Christian faith in relation to present human experience and to reconcile and unify traditional theological concepts with the requirements of modern knowledge"...I think I see why you didn't get into that little detail.... "Post-modernism" would then refer to those who believe and assume that science and the world are past that "religious nonsense".

My unprecedented research and discovery, of the single OBJECTIVE origin of all of the "Ancient Mysteries" of mankind, is the real, historical truth, not any current "post-modernism" (i.e., anti-religion dogma), that declares that any mention of design of the "natural" world is out of bounds in science.

The truth is that the world WAS designed, and later re-formed wholesale to a lesser but still all-encompassing design (the latter, only 20,000 to 10,000 years ago, and NOT done by "God", but by the "gods", of worldwide ancient worship, and later relegated to mere "myth").

The war between "God" and science is quite false -- because it neglects the very real but misapprehended "gods" who remade the world and man -- and science is now in a crisis of general incompetence over it, as only my research has proved, with new knowledge of the actual design imposed upon the Earth by the "gods" -- as I said, the single objective origin of all of the ancient mysteries, all of mankind's earliest religious and religiously-held beliefs.

Why People Today Won't or Can't Reason

The real-science site takes a dim view of what Steven Goddard calls the Democratic platform ("Lies, Superstition and Denial"), to which I respond here, in accordance with what my unprecedented research has uncovered:

"Lies, superstition and denial" is not seeing the forest for the trees, those three avoidances of truth being the "trees". The "forest", however -- the epidemic urge, in mankind today, to avoid the truth -- is the knee-jerk mental bowing to dogma, or factually unsupported or invalidated, but unquestioned, authority. In the public debates, it is commonly known as "political correctness", going by the apparent, society-wide intellectual fads of the moment (or the decade, or the generation, or even the culture). Dogma is dramatically, climactically ascendant in the world today, over true, dispassionate (i.e., focused only on finding the truth) reason. That is my overriding message now, in these dark times (whose dogmatic heart is generally unrecognized by mere partisan analyses), based upon my own research into the objective origin of the very first (and still surviving) dogmas, underlying the "ancieht mysteries" of man, and my epochal findings (primarily of a world-encompassing design imposed upon the world, by those whom ancient man was informed of, in earliest myths worldwide, as the "gods" who once reigned, thousands of years before earthbound, mortal men first became kings). When that source of the earliest dogmas, which still overshadow all the endeavors of "modern man" with the accumulated fearful superstitions, lies and scientific denial of the past, is finally confronted and accepted, mankind can cast off that nearly instinctual urge to bow to the convenient, and inherently divisive, dogmas each individual is brought up to believe. Then, I like to think, the true abilities of man -- now seemingly limited to just a few, lucky "superstars" in any field -- will flower as never before (because man will outgrow the false philosophy of "survival of the fittest", anciently known as "holier than thou").

Challenge to Science and Religion

Since I am a scientist, I am more concerned with science's mistakes than I am with others', and that is the reason behind my "Challenge to Science" here. I have found and verified a coherent world design which science today dogmatically refuses to confront and accept, because it invalidates the fundamental assumptions underlying the hotly-defended, central theories in the earth and life sciences today. But I am aware of all the evidence, not just that which puts today's scientific dogma in a bad light. I am not a follower of "Intelligent Design" theory, nor of biblical creationism (although my research findings reaffirm that design is behind everything we see on the Earth, and in the solar system beyond, and surely in the universe beyond that). I know, based upon overwhelming evidence, that the ongoing "debates" are obsolete. My research has taken the next step, beyond all three of these widely-held positions: undirected evolution, one-time creation, or even a single Creator/Designer of all that we observe.

Because of my fundamental commitment to openness throughout my work, I have sent the following communication to biologos.org, which deals with this theme:

The ongoing debates over evolution vs. design of the natural world are obsolete, due to new knowledge uncovered by my research into the objective origin of the popular "ancient mysteries": 1) constellation forms on the heavenly sphere; 2) myths and legends about the "gods" and the semi-divine heroes they sired among men; 3) sacred traditions, images and words; and 4) megalithic monuments of precise construction and astronomical/terrestrial alignments. All of these proceeded from a common real, physical source. I suggest everyone needs to read my work, which scientists and scientific publications have universally dismissed without competent consideration. I recommend as a start the new blog at http://theendofthemystery.blogspot.com, for a maturer perspective that does not get bogged down in divisive speculations about First Cause, which the medieval scholars many centuries ago decisively showed were in vain.

I am a hard scientist, but I believe I can [also] give a clearer, simpler metaphysics. The term "evolution" is abused and universally applied because it is only a robust metaphysical reality, not a physical one; across all fields to which it is applied, it merely reflects human learning. Here is the fundamental philosophical truth that needs to be apprehended by all sides today: "Evolution" requires design, and design requires an overarching, prior intelligence. Undirected evolution is a logically inept metaphysics, a fundamental confusion of the mind, and the "intelligent" in "intelligent design" is superfluous.

And there is more to the story of man than God and undirected physical processes. The "gods", for example, really existed (as my scientific findings establish, along with their design, as fact) and they (not "plate tectonics") really re-formed the Earth, and the entire solar system, to a great design (as the design itself and the ancient records of mankind both attest). I invite everyone to engage in a more adult intellectual study of the amazing past of mankind. The current "debate" is medieval; learn instead the new field of science I have re-discovered, after thousands of years of human history and human struggle to learn in this world: The design of the "gods" who were our true forebears.

Undirected evolution is invalidated 1) above all, by its denial of meaning (or truth, or higher reality) underlying the physical world; 2) by a great deal of positive evidence of design on every scale of observation throughout the biological realm (such as the many remarkable examples of "co-evolution" and its deeper, characteristic presence, across the entire class of flowering plants, for example); and 3) most surely by the world design I uncovered, which communicates a coherent message encompassing, and thus surely the original motivation for, all of the ancient, religious obsessions held in common by men worldwide.

One-time creation is invalidated by equally sure evidence of past changes in the creatures inhabiting the Earth, again on every scale from global down to local. This is really all that Darwin--an amateur scientist who got caught up in his own worldly success among scientists--began by arguing against, and all he was right about, in the final analysis. The Earth is clearly older than 6,000 years, because the ancient records of the earliest civilizations, particularly Egypt, honestly claimed and diligently recorded a far longer history, a far longer human memory.

A single Creator of the material universe is logically equivalent to the metaphysical necessity for an underlying coherence, and meaning, to it. This idea is unassailable and adhered to by everyone, whatever they may claim. But Man is a designer, too, who has added to the natural world through domestic breeding, of dogs, cats, horses, and no doubt more. Someone also domesticated, in the millennia before known human history, the grains, fruits and other staples we enjoy without thought for how they came about. Multiple designers were thus already strongly indicated by scientific findings, even without my re-discovery of the "gods" and their great world design. My verification of a real re-formation of the entire surface of the Earth (and of a real re-orientation and re-formation of the entire solar system) at the heart of all the ancient mysteries of man on Earth, proves that other designers preceded man on Earth, and were known to later men, worldwide, as the "gods" (or "divine immortals").

Design of the world--and by extension, the material universe--is the underlying truth of all. Evolution is a powerful metaphysical truth, a universal metaphor for learning across all disciplines, every human endeavor and design.

Challenge to Science II: Focus on Design

Appreciation of the world design requires one to focus one's attention on hard, unyielding observations that have before now entirely escaped the notice of generations of even the best of scientists. The dodecahedron pattern obeyed by the Earth's major landmasses, discussed in the last post (see below, on this page), is a prime example of this. The observations are not really hard to interpret (once they are noticed, and given serious consideration), it is only that science has deliberately kept its focus away from the truth, of a real design of the Earth. And, as the authors of Hamlet's Mill noted, solving the great riddle of worldwide myth and other ancient testimonies--which, my research shows, refer directly and precisely to the design--requires competence in working with the celestial sphere, and no scientist before me has married such competence with a professional interest in getting to the bottom of the ancient mysteries. For example, I had to develop my own software, UrMaps, capable of mapping the celestial sphere onto the Earth in any way my research required, and enabling efficient, precise calculations on the sphere, after I discovered the central elements of the design using one of the common star-charting programs, as detailed in my book, The End of the Mystery. The design I found is the key to all the ancient mysteries--their single, primordial source.

All of the scientific authorities today strenuously and dogmatically assert that design of the natural world is an idea that simply cannot be broached in a scientific context. Examples of design in the natural world are so widespread and easy to see, they consider the idea "non-falsifiable"--which is spectacularly wrong thinking (it certainly is falsifiable, it just turns out it's not false), but it's the only way they can continue to deny design. The sheer idiocy, the unadulterated scientific incompetence, of that assertion should be obvious to scientists (and all the scientists in the world who have proclaimed it should be summarily kicked out of science), given that man adds his own designs to the world all the time, and scientists in particular can and do speak of changing the natural world, of terraforming the world and creating new species as if these things were no big deal, "in principle". I don't intend to go further here into this sorry intellectual degradation of science--I am a serious, competent scientist (possibly the only one, based upon my experience in looking for others of my kind over the last six years), and I will not dignify the so-called debate over "intelligent design", on the part of dogmatic authorities (either scientific or religious, on either side of this intellectual war) or the many self-styled defenders of science, with further comments here, which would only provoke the usual dogmatic, and unsupported or irrelevant, assertions from them. I will only say that when the design is identified--not some vague speculation about the idea of design, but the particular fact of it I have found--its validity is independently confirmed by every line of study, in strict conformity with the highest standards of dispassionate, unbiased science. Again, the facts are extraordinary, but thoroughly unyielding and determinative. I am the only one who has done this scientific duty so far, and found the world design--others have only followed the many fragmented theories that abound, of biblical creation, plate tectonics, expanding earth, 12th planet, cosmic catastrophes, and so on, without once seeing the real design (and even denying the possibility of it--especially those scientists I have tried to inform--rather than investigating it, like competent, dispassionate scientists would do).

So let us continue with the dispassionate consideration of facts. In the last post, I showed that the east coasts of the continents obey a strict dodecahedron pattern on the surface of the Earth, with the probability of this having happened by chance being only about 1 in a million million. Technically, this observation by itself is enough to disprove "plate tectonics" and prove the design. The truth, however, is that this simple demonstration was only a late, added confirmation of the design I had already verified long before, along every independent line of study. I found what I call the Great Mapping--of the celestial or heavenly sphere onto the Earth, or "heaven on Earth" as the ancients would have said--in September-October of 1997, and not until July of 1998 did I realize that a primary feature in that mapping directly indicated the dodecahedral pattern in the layout of landmasses on the Earth. In short, the particular pattern of lines I showed on the Earth in the last post was not something I pulled out of thin air; it was precisely indicated in a prominent element of the Great Mapping, and thus was one confirmation--among many--of the validity of that mapping as a deliberate act of the designers.

Remember, all it really takes is focus upon the fact. Here is an image of the Great Mapping:

The black line in the image is the path of the ecliptic on the celestial sphere. (Remember, the ecliptic marks the plane of the Earth's orbit around the Sun, and the apparent path of the Sun among the stars as seen from the Earth.) While it may not look like it (due to the limitations of a two-dimensional image of a three-dimensional sphere), the ecliptic is a great circle on the sphere, an undeviating line. The Great Mapping was found from matchups between elements of the celestial and Earth spheres in the immediate area of the circle in the center of the image. (That circle marks the successive positions of the celestial north pole among the stars, due to the Earth's precession, i.e., the precession of Earth's spin axis around its orbital axis.) The point to be made here is that I found the Great Mapping from a few central elements, and validated it with precise matchups of form and name at sites scattered over the globe. I can't go into the many details of that extended validation in this short post.

But look at the ecliptic path, in particular how it follows the east coast of Asia. Now look back at the preceding post, and the illustration there of the line along the Asian coast, in the dodecahedron pattern discussed there. The ecliptic path in the Great Mapping is essentially this same line. So the Great Mapping, among many other virtues, points to the dodecahedron symmetry in the landmasses on the Earth, and its meaningfulness--its great scientific importance as a deliberate design--is spectacularly confirmed by recognizing this precise dodecahedron pattern on the Earth.

Here again is the dodecahedron pattern I was drawn to by the Great Mapping, showing how the eastern coasts of the landmasses conform to that strict layout:
